Pray for Pastor Matt

Hi there everyone...
As you know if you've been around the Chapel, our Pastor of Youth and Family Services, Matt DeLorenzo, has been battling leukemia for some time now. He has been at Sloan-Kettering in the city for a number of weeks now following his stem cell transplant.
Matt is a fighter and is hard at work in this battle to get better. God has provided for him and his family in many ways, but now, more than ever, we need to pray that God provides for his healing.
The doctors are waiting to see if his white blood cell count will come back following this transplant, but it has been a long and torturous wait.
It is essential that no one visit Matt. His immune system is terribly weakened from his treatments. It is even more essential, though, that we all tend to Matt with our prayers.
- Pray that Matt's white blood cells begin to flourish.
- Pray that he is completely healed.
- Pray for his wife, Carina, as she deals with this situation with Matt.
- Pray for Matt's sons, Mike and Mark, along with their families during this tough time.
- Pray for Matt's spirit--that it will be fed moment by moment, even as he is weak.
Please take a moment as often as you can to catch up with what is going on at Matt's blog page.
Let's keep lifting him up in prayer together.
