Let me start off by saying we have some AMAZING people who serve on the volunteer teams at Emergence. We have people on our planning team, our coffee team, our welcome team, our setup team, our worship teams, our facility search team, and our leadership support team.
One of the teams that serves week in and week out is an awesome group of people who make up our tech team. These people run our sound, lights, and media (slides/lyrics/videos) for our services. They are also the team that we depend on to get the audio for the recordings you hear every week on this site.
With growth comes need. In just over a year, we have gone from one service to three--from 150 people to almost 400. Were it not for our tech crew, none of those 400 would hear, see, or be able to participate with anything that goes on each week.
Our team is pretty stretched. Here's the deal: chances are, if you're reading this, you have some technical know-how to even get to this site. You have general computer knowledge and can grasp basic concepts needed to join our crew.
If you have any technical experience, desire to learn, or just looking for a place to serve, I can tell you this group is a great team of people who would love to hear from you. We give you all the training you need--no experience necessary. In the process, you'll learn a lot. You'll also get to be part of a team that has the privilege of watching as God does some pretty amazing stuff.
